Are Nightowl Wireless Cameras hard to install?
They are not. The same steps that would be required to install a standard floodlight or fixture, are the same steps that are required to install a Nightowl Camera.
The steps are as follows:
- Turn off power to the fixture
- Remove the old fixture
- Install the Nightowl Camera with the supplied hardware
- Restore power to the fixture
- Complete the step up process using the Nightowl app
Which cameras from Nightowl do you recommend?
We recommend that customers get wired cameras instead of wireless cameras. The reason being is that wireless cameras are tougher to compromise than wired cameras. In addition, wired cameras are less likely to have connection issues in larger homes. On the contrary, wired cameras are more difficult to install as the wires have to be ran in the attic or along the exterior of the home.
